Announcement on Convening the 2nd Yangtze International Forum on Petrophysics and Logging Technology Innovation for Unconventional Reservoirs & the 6th SPWLA-SW Academic Annual Meeting (Second Notice)
To Relevant Universities, Research Institutes, Enterprises, and Institutions:
The 1st "Yangtze International Forum on Petrophysics and Logging Technology Innovation for Unconventional Reservoirs" was held in Wuhan in November 2024, and the 5th SPWLA-SW Academic Annual Meeting was held in Chengdu in January 2025. These two conferences attracted over 300 experts and scholars from China and abroad. To better integrate academic conference resources and continuously promote innovation and exchange in petrophysics and logging methodologies and technologies for unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, the organizers of the two conferences have jointly decided to convene the 2nd Yangtze International Forum on Petrophysics and Logging Technology Innovation for Unconventional Reservoirs & the 6th SPWLA-SW Academic Annual Meeting from January 30th to February 1st, 2026, in Jingzhou, Hubei Province. Renowned domestic and international academicians and experts will be invited to attend the forum and deliver academic reports. Scientists and technicians in related fields are warmly welcome to participate actively. The relevant matters and requirements of the conference are hereby notified as follows:

IV. Call for Papers Requirements
Conference papers are solicited from scientists and technicians nationwide involved in related fields. The content for exchange must be non-confidential; any confidential content must be declassified. Please submit your abstract (template in Attachment 1) via the following website before January 18, 2026:https://www.aconf.cn/conf_225781.html.
The abstract should align with the forum's exchange themes and reflect the latest findings, research results, or advancements in the field of petrophysics and logging for unconventional reservoirs. The abstract should include the title, author's name(s), author's affiliation(s), abstract (500-800 characters), keywords (3-5), key references, and other information. Following the abstract, include a brief introduction (about 150 characters) of the first author, containing: name, date of birth, final graduated school (academic institution) and highest degree; current employer, title/position, main research direction and academic achievements; detailed mailing address, postal code, contact phone number, and email address. The organizing committee will compile the accepted abstracts into a proceedings booklet in electronic format for exchange among participants. Excellent papers will be recommended for submission to the conference's supported journals for publication.

VI. Conference Registration and Fees
1.Conference Fee:
Regular participants: RMB 2,400 per person, and the full-time students: RMB 1,200 per person (valid student ID required). The "Conference Registration Fee" will be uniformly collected by the conference service company designated by the organizers (Wuhan Chytey Aconf Co., Ltd.) and an invoice for "Conference Fee" will be issued.
